Statement of our Tuning Fork Quality
SomaEnergetics Tuning Forks
are manufactured by Biosonics.
We realize there are
cheaper Tuning forks available on the internet and we encourage you to read
below before purchasing a cheaper set.
Our goal is not to make the
cheapest tuning forks - our goal is to offer the best quality tuning forks!
2010: BioSonics Tuning Fork Manufacturing Standards
The tuning forks sold by SomaEnergetics are manufactured by BioSonic
Enterprises, Ltd. BioSonic tuning forks are designed to scientific standards
using the highest quality aluminum alloy. They are precisely tuned within 0.5%
of the indicated frequency at 20° C. All tuning forks are subjected to at least
three inspection processes to guarantee quality. The specially designed aluminum
alloy makes them harder, more durable, and impact resistant with decreased
frequency changes due to temperature variations. This results in a longer ring
tone, purer tonal quality when tapped individually, and a complete range of
overtones when tapped together. Using the highest quality aluminum alloy also
means that BioSonic tuning forks are immune to corrosion, have the highest
rating for quality of surface finish, and have no sharp edges.
BioSonic tuning forks are made with Alcoa aluminum. The aluminum is domestically
produced within the regulations of United States and meets all
environmentallaws. Alcoa was named one of the top three Sustainable
Corporations in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. In 2005,
Business Week magazine, in conjunction with the Climate Group, ranked Alcoa as
one of the "Top Green Companies" in cutting their carbon gas emissions.
Aluminum tuning forks tested from other companies are softer, have higher levels
of impurities, and are more susceptible to corrosion and frequency changes due
to temperature variations. They have a rougher appearance, the ring time is 20+%
less, and tonal quality, which is important in the healing process, can vary by
2+%. Due to the softness of the aluminum many overtones, which are essential in
neural transmission as part of stress reduction are dropped and cannot be relied
upon with any consistency. The companies supplying the softer impure aluminum
tuning forks tend to have weak environment records and questionable labor
practices.
There is no research that steel forks or aluminum forks loose their tuning over
long periods of time. In fact experience proves the opposite. BioSonics has been
selling aluminum alloy tuning forks for thirty years for healing. Over that time
no tuning forks have been returned for loss of tuning. Recently we tested a set
of BioSonic tuning forks that have been used for twenty years with a sine wave
generator accurate to 1/10 of a cycle per second. All of the tuning forks tested
were "in tune".
The argument that steel forks are better than aluminum forks for healing is
without scientific merit. We believe that both steel and aluminum tuning forks
work in the healing environment. We have chosen aluminum tuning forks because
they are easier to use, more versatile then the steel forks, and less expensive.
Our recent scientific research with 128cps weighted aluminum tuning forks and
Nitric Oxide release proves beyond a doubt the healing effects of our aluminum
tuning forks. Soon Dr. John Beaulieu will publish peer reviewed, the highest
level research, using BioSonic aluminum tuning forks. We ask that anyone making
claims about loss of tuning or that aluminum tuning forks are not healing to
produce the scientific documentation for those claims.
