SomaEnergetics Sound Therapy Workshops and Contact Hours:04/08 Update We are approved for the following Continuing Education Contact Hours:
"SomaEnergetics" is Approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider #450637-08.
Approval Date February 28, 2008. Under the guidelines we can award contact hours for any of these classes taught under the submitted guidelines going back 2 years. Click here for a list of current workshops. Note: 4/9/08 The Home Study Course for Level One has been submitted but not yet approved. When approved, it will have additional requirements which are listed below. NCBTMB Continuing Education (CE) Requirements Vibrational Sound Therapy Level I Home Study Requirements to receive Certificate of Achievement and 12 CE Contact Hours: NCBTMB guidelines consider this course to be Home Study/Kinesthetic. This means that a qualified proctor/instructor administer a proficiency exam of the hands-on portion of the course. Therefore, in addition to the passing the written exam with at least a 70%, you will be required to make arrangements to have one of our qualified instructors test your proficiency in the Energy Vitality Technique prior to CE Contact Hours being awarded. To fulfill the requirements you must do the following: 1) Return the written test and 10 session form with a $25.00 CE Administrative Fee made out to SomaEnergetics. 2) Check the website www.SomaEnergetics.com or call Tim Leach at 501-771-9303 for a list of current instructors qualified to administer the hands-on test. Contact the instructor closest to you and make arrangements for the test. There will be a $50.00 fee payable to the instructor for their time. 3) As soon as the instructor signs off that you have passed the hands on-portion and we have verified that the written test has been passed, we will award the Certificate of Achievement and the 12 CE Contact Hours for this course.
